Evoraa Healthcare’s Virtual Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) combines structured clinical care with the flexibility of remote treatment, allowing individuals to receive high-quality support while remaining connected to work, family, and daily responsibilities.
Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP) is paired with Peer Recovery Support (PRS), giving clients real-world guidance from individuals who have walked the recovery journey themselves. This blend of clinical expertise and lived experience creates accountability, connection, and hope – all critical components of long-term recovery.
This level of care offers flexibility and accessibility for those who need intense treatment but want to maintain their daily responsibilities. IOPs often include individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions tailored to each person’s specific needs.
This program is ideal for individuals stepping down from residential treatment, transitioning from PHP, or seeking structured care without the need for full-time, in-person programming.

The duration of an IOP varies based on several factors, such as the substance use disorder, frequency, dosage, and duration of substance use, or the severity of the mental health disorder. Usually, IOPs last between 4 and 12 weeks but can last longer based on individual needs and treatment goals and objectives.
During treatment, as progress is made, care plans are reviewed periodically. This helps determine when it is appropriate for participants to gradually step down their level of care to outpatient services for a few hours each week.
During an IOP at Evoraa Health, participants can expect to receive comprehensive and individualized treatment that may include a variety of components such as:
